Pro Tips for reheating meals:
Pro Tip #1: "Slack out" the meals.
If you are planning to eat a meal within 48 hours, store it in the refrigerator. Thawing the meal out a little will allow for a more consistent cook with less microwave time!
Pro Tip #2: "Pop" the meal out of the plastic.
If you have an aversion to putting the plastic in the microwave (which is perfectly safe), you can usually twist the frozen meal and the food will pop right out of the plastic and you can transfer to another dish before microwaving.
Pro Tip #3: Drain excess water.
If the meal doesn't have an absorbent carbohydrate (such as rice), there may be excess water in the container after heating. After heating (with the film still on), tilt the container over the sink and dump out the excess water through the vent in the film.
